Our dam liners pricing in Kenya are for either 100M length by 8M width rolls or bespoke sizes. To adapt the material to the client’s needs, we cut liners from the roll and weld them together. We factory weld our dam liners to ensure that they remain leak-free for the duration of their service life.
Leaking is a regular occurrence with a badly hand welded geomembrane, so we only allow it where factory welding is impossible. As an example, if the liner is too heavy or bulky to handle due to its size. It will be supplied on-site in large parts that will be physically connected.
What is the finest pond liner?
The optimum dam liner to use is determined by the volume of water retained and the type of surface. A thicker liner is preferable for a large reservoir. A lighter gauge liner will work if the surface is smooth.
What are the various types of dam liners used in Kenya?
In terms of thickness. Our dam liner thicknesses include 0.5mm, 0.8mm, and 1mm. They come in various widths to accommodate the size and shape of the reservoir or tank.
HDPE dam liner type benefits and drawbacks:-
- dense, tougher
- has a greater longevity
- Extremely little elasticity
- more challenging to work with
What is the lifespan of pond liners?
Twelve years using 0.5mm, 20 years for 0.8mm, and 35 years with 1mm. Maintaining your liner will increase its lifespan. You should also keep it submerged at all times and erect a hedge or fence around the water pan. The latter prevents wildlife from damaging the liner.
